Malmö University (Mars - May 2013)
Our goal within the group was to create a 3D Game Engine and to make a simple game with it. We wrote the engine in C++ and DirectX 11 and created a horror survival game where the player had to survive ever growing counts of zombies.
My work included:
- Engine: Wrote a collision detection system for different shapes eg. Spheres, Cubes and rectangles. The system was then used to block the player and zombies to walk through the walls in the game.
- Assets: Created different assest such as walls, chains and the player's gun together with texture maps.
- Shaders: Created a bunch of different shaders with different effects such as reflection and bump mapping.
